The Story

The Relationships Academy was first conceived in 2010 but it remained in the background whilst we worked on different projects. Seven years later we partnered with Guy and Tania West who shared our passion for supporting marriages. Together we established the foundations for the Relationships Academy and started to develop our coaching process.

After four years of fruitful partnership we received the shocking news that Guy had advanced kidney cancer and in August 2021, the Wests decided to step back from the Relationships Academy in order to focus on his treatment. We will miss them and we will always be endebted to them for their friendship, support and encouragement.

Our vision is to equip Christian couples and leaders in the Church and marketplace to build strong marriages that make a difference. We want to encourage a shift in culture whereby it is normal and desirable for couples to regularly invest in their relationship, rather than wait until a crisis before getting help. We long to see 100,000 Kingdom couples strengthened, trained and equipped to support couples in their churches and wider communities.

With the support of our Advisory Board and prayer team, we hope that we are able to offer something that is better than what we could achieve on our own. We are also really appreciative of the friends who have, and are, supporting us on this journey with their prayers, advice and encouragement. We look forward to our team growing as we progress on this journey and more people will come to share in the vision that we believe God has given us.
